- You get in touch. Phone, email or the form on this site. Tell us roughly what the property is and what needs clearing. If you can send photographs of the main rooms, the attic and the garage, we can often quote from those alone.
- We quote a fixed price. For larger or more complicated properties we will call out and look first — that visit is free and there is no obligation. You get the price in writing, with what is included spelled out.
- The crew clears the property. We arrive when we said we would. We work room by room, starting at the top of the house and working down. You do not need to be there for the whole day — many customers let us in and come back at the end.
- We hand back an empty house. Swept through, ready for viewings, valuation or handover. Your invoice and any disposal dockets follow by email.
Do I need to be there?
No. Plenty of our clearances are done with keys collected from an estate agent or a neighbour, particularly when the family is abroad. We will send photographs before and after so you can see exactly what happened.
What happens to everything?
In order of preference: returned to the family, donated for reuse, recycled, and only then disposed of. Furniture in good condition, clothing, books and kitchenware go to reuse wherever there is a charity able to take them. Metal, WEEE, timber and cardboard are separated for recycling. What is genuinely waste goes to a licensed facility, and we keep the dockets.
How long does it take?
Most one to three-bed properties are a single day. A large or very full house can run into a second day. We will tell you honestly at quote stage — we would rather book two days and finish early than start something we cannot complete.
